Information About Our President

LaTonya King Wow! I can't believe that I'm writing a mini biography on Kingly Heirs. Well, it started out in the kitchen being molded by my Aunt Sadie. When I was growing up, I used to go to her house every weekend. She cooked the best food in town. She baked the best desserts ever made, one of which was the Pound Cake. Every time she went in the kitchen, I went in the kitchen. Every time she walked out of the kitchen, I stayed in the kitchen and pinched a piece of cake then very quietly went straight for my bedroom. Aunt Sadie would periodically look over her cake with admiration to notice the nibble. She would scream out my name, and then scold me. When she asked me why I pinched off the cake, I would just shrug my shoulders and say, "I don't know". She would remind me how God didn't like ugly, and that it wasn't one bit cute to be sneaky. Then of course she would make another cake, as it was for a guest. Then the cake nibbled with my help was the family dessert. Every dessert she made had to be perfect. Appearance was everything. Aunt Sadie, I never realized how much I was like you! And I thank you so much for showing me how to be a woman, a lady, a mother, and teaching me how to cook. Thank you for being in my life for 32 years, and the World being so privileged for having you for 98 years.

Enjoying a bite What a good cake!
